Kota Kinabalu: Army veterans may soon find it easier to rebuild their civilian careers through a collaboration between Perbadanan Hal Ehwal Bekas Angkatan Tentera (Perhebat), the Sabah Employers Association and local industry players.

The initiative aims to connect skilled former military personnel with businesses across the State to improve employment opportunities for veterans.

The matter was discussed during Perhebat’s engagement session with Sabah agencies and strategic industries Thursday, where employers were offered a government-funded assessment period to evaluate candidates before offering permanent positions.
