The female suspect, believed to be in her 50s, was detained at about 1 pm during an operation by the MACC.
Preliminary investigations revealed that she allegedly committed the offence in 2025 by submitting government purchase orders, invoices, and company quotations containing false details related to supply, upgrading, and maintenance works in her department.
Fuad also stated that the woman is suspected of directly appointing a company owned by a family member to obtain bribes.
