LABUAN: Three young swimmers from the Persatuan Akuatik Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan (PAL) delivered an impressive performance at the 4th Brunei National Age Group Swimming Championship (Short Course) 2026.
The championship was held at the swimming pool of International School Brunei (ISB) and featured participation from 16 swimming clubs from Brunei, Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan.

PAL was represented by Hazel Delaney Kaur Sandhu, 11, Langston Ting Kie Hao, 10, and Chanelle Ezra Teo, nine.
Chanelle emerged as the team’s top contributor with one gold and seven silver medals, while Hazel added three bronze medals to complete the team’s overall tally.
Team manager Wenona Ling Li Wei expressed pride in the swimmers’ performance, saying they were pleased to see PAL athletes compete strongly against teams from across the region.
She said many of the swimmers improved their personal best times and that the team surpassed its target of 10 medals by securing 11 in total.
The achievement reflects PAL’s commitment to developing young talent and strengthening Labuan’s presence in regional swimming competitions.
