The Works Ministry says it is taking Sandakan’s water supply problems seriously and will work with relevant agencies to fix the issue at its root.

Minister Datuk Seri Joachim Gunsalam said solutions will involve on-the-ground efforts and close cooperation between the state government, local authorities and technical agencies, with existing plants continuing supply while longer-term plans are developed to ensure stable water delivery.
