PAPAR: A 54-year-old motorcyclist died after succumbing to serious injuries following an accident along Jalan Limbahau on Saturday.

It is believed the victim was travelling from Beluran to Labuan to meet his wife at the time of the incident.

District Police Chief Supt Heryan Mohd Tahir said police were alerted by members of the public at about 7am regarding a motorcycle crash in the area.

“Initial investigations found that the deceased lost control of his vehicle before crashing while passing through the area,” he said.

The case is being investigated, and the victim’s body was sent to the hospital for further action.
