TAWAU: A man in his 30s was killed after a four-wheel drive carrying four men was swept away while attempting to cross floodwaters that had already overtopped the road at Jalan Kampung Sungai Udin–Kalabakan at about 9.30pm on Thursday.
The vehicle reportedly veered off course and was dragged by strong currents, with the 4WD, its occupants and two motorcycles loaded at the rear all swept downstream.
