KUNAK: Appointments to key positions such as Community Development Leaders (PPM) must take into account cooperation between the UPPM and elected representatives to ensure that aid distribution, community programmes, field needs and other development efforts can be carried out smoothly without disruption.
“That is why appointed PPMs must be aligned with the elected representative or assemblyman in the area and maintain a good working relationship. “This principle is crucial so that all actions are in line with decisions made by both parties, ensuring the Government’s aspirations to help the people can be achieved,” said Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Kunak Division Deputy Chief Abdul Rahim Wahab.
He said the unity government formed through cooperation between GRS and Barisan Nasional (BN) at the State level must be reflected in the Kunak constituency through strong ties between the elected representative and core members within Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
