TAMBUNAN: The Tambunan Native Court has issued a directive requiring all village heads to ensure residents confine their livestock to safeguard public safety.
The directive follows concerns raised by the District Office over livestock such as buffaloes and cattle roaming freely in villages, roads and public areas.
District Native Chief OKK Philip P. Kitingan

He said it is also aimed at preventing damage to public property and crops belonging to villagers.
The directive is intended to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents while maintaining cleanliness and order in the environment.
Village heads have been instructed to inform residents and advise livestock owners to comply with the requirement.
They are also responsible for monitoring enforcement to ensure all animals are kept in proper enclosures or fenced areas.
Authorities emphasised that failure to comply could lead to further action, calling for full cooperation from livestock owners and community leaders.
