Armed Forces Fund Board Foundation initiative empowers Malaysian Armed Forces
SANDAKAN: The Armed Forces Fund Board Foundation (LTAT Foundation) will continue the LTAT Foundation Initiative Tour series at Sri Kinabatangan Camp, near here, as part of its ongoing commitment to empowering the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) community.

The LTAT Foundation, in a statement Tuesday, said the session, which brought together 350 ATM personnel and members of the Malaysian Armed Forces Family Welfare Association (Bakat), aimed to provide detailed information on the foundation’s various initiatives and to promote the Armed Forces Family Skills Programme (K²T).

To date, the foundation said, the K²T Programme has conducted 28 courses across various skill areas, involving 952 Babat participants nationwide, an encouraging indicator of strong interest in the initiative.

“Phase 1 K²T briefings were conducted at eight camps involving 1,150 Bakat members, while Phase 2 briefings took place at five camps with the participation of 1,250 Bakat members,” it said.

The session at Sri Kinabatangan Camp was also attended by the Commanding Officer of the 22nd Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD), Lt Col M. Idris Odding.

In addition to providing briefings on its initiatives, the LTAT Foundation also extended welfare assistance to 95 ATM personnel as a gesture of support and concern for their well-being.

“This effort is in line with the Madani aspiration to enhance the well-being and development of human capital,” the foundation said.

According to the LTAT Foundation, the tour will continue at the remaining seven ATM camps to ensure military personnel nationwide receive comprehensive information about its initiatives and the K²T Programme, thereby opening up more opportunities for ATM members to participate in skills development activities.
