SANDAKAN: Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) candidate for Gum-Gum, Abdul Said Pimping, has urged voters to choose carefully on Nov 29, saying he offers experienced and government-backed leadership rather than “empty promises.”
He said PH, as part of the Federal Unity Government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, brings a realistic approach shaped by administrative experience.
Abdul Said reminded voters to decide “with calm hearts and clear minds,” free from emotional pressure during the campaign period.
He pledged to be the community’s “eyes, ears and voice,” committing to visit neighbourhoods, listen to concerns and raise local issues at the highest level for solutions.
A long-serving Libaran Area Fishermen’s Association chairman, he said he would continue championing the rights of coastal and deep-sea fishermen while also prioritising youth and women’s development if elected.
