TAMPARULI: Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said several election slogans used by rival parties do not reflect Sabah’s current realities as they fail to explain what they intend to repair or restore.
He told supporters in Tamparuli that such slogans contradict the achievements delivered by the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government over the past five years.
Hajiji said voters should choose a coalition with a proven record, adding that GRS has strengthened the economy while expanding assistance programmes for low-income families, including the RM300 monthly SYUKUR aid.
He said GRS has placed Sabah on the right development track and urged voters in Tamparuli, Kiulu and elsewhere to support its candidates in order to sustain ongoing progress.
The GRS Chairman added that public response during the first week of campaigning shows growing support for the GRS–Pakatan Harapan partnership, with many voters wanting continuity after giving other parties a chance in the past.
