KIULU: An elderly man reported missing at dawn was found dead about 30 metres from his home in Kampung Bayag this afternoon.

Tuaran Fire and Rescue chief Mohamad Nor Amit said six personnel were deployed after a 3.30pm distress call and located 85-year-old Taisin Bandaran unconscious near his house.

He said the Health Ministry confirmed the victim had died and the body was handed over to police before the operation ended at 5.40pm.
