KINARUT: Much has been written about this enduring old wooden shops with a rich historical Chinese heritage just 20km from the state capital.

Many of the younger generations have migrated elsewhere for work. The multi-racial population hovers around 25,000 residents. The Chinese primary school Kin Kiau with its kindergarten has expanded with new buildings, with support from property developers like the WSG Group.

Many new families have settled in the few newer designed concrete housing estates that have also drawn back some of Kinarut’s younger generations to stay if they are working nearby in the capital.

Kinarut is never on the radar of property data news coverage as its statistical significance is small.
