TAWAU: Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for Merotai Datuk Ruji Ubi is ready to answer the call of Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s (PKR) leadership to invigorate reform in Sabah if given the opportunity to serve in the new cabinet that will be formed later.
However, the former Secretary-General of three Federal Government ministries is aware that the first task is to win the Merotai seat and ensure that PH is able to form a unity government in Sabah.
“The Prime Minister has asked that the Merotai seat be won because he envisions appointing me (if I win and PH succeeds in forming a unity government) as part of the team responsible for shaping and implementing policies at the State Government level.
“Based on my experience and expertise, I fully understand the processes required for formulating and executing the necessary policies, including methods to expedite approved projects so that they reach the people,” he said.
