KUDAT: A man was found dead after his body was discovered floating near the riverbank at Empangan Milau on Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters from the Kudat station arrived at 4.33pm and recovered the body using a stretcher before handing it over to the police for further action.

The operation, involving seven firemen and supported by police personnel, ended at 5pm with the victim identified as a 40-year-old man.
