KOTA KINABALU: GRS Darau candidate Datuk Mohamed Razali Razi has proposed a land swap to allow for a larger Likas Health Clinic as part of his personal manifesto for the constituency.
He said the idea arose after seeing the increasingly cramped conditions at the current clinic in Kampung Likas and the need for a more suitable site to serve the growing community.
Razali, known as Bob, also pledged to strengthen community participation through a new Village Management and Development Council and youth centres in every village to create a more open platform for local voices.
He said the council would provide a direct channel for youth, JKKK members, NGOs and community activists to share their concerns while he plans to further boost youth entrepreneurship through existing government support programmes.
Razali expressed confidence in voter support after welcoming 300 former Warisan Sepanggar members on Tuesday, saying many felt frustrated by a lack of progress and now see GRS as delivering more consistent development.
