PUTATAN: Providing conducive and well-equipped facilities in schools can boost teachers’ motivation and nurture intelligent, competitive young generations in Putatan.
Putatan Assemblyman Datuk Shahelmey Yahya said that with quality infrastructure and sufficient learning resources, schools can create a more positive and effective learning environment.
“In line with our aspiration to ensure the education standard in Putatan continues to progress positively, providing comfortable and conducive facilities plays a crucial role,” he said.
Shahelmey added that at the Putatan Parliamentary level, efforts remain focused on assisting any school in need of facility upgrades or infrastructure improvements within the constituency.
He said this after inspecting the new multipurpose square and attending a symbolic handover ceremony for the newly completed school field at SK Petagas on Thursday.
Also present were SK Petagas Headmaster Ismail Ag Damit, Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) President Zunainah Ahmad, Putatan Parliament Senior Officer Mohd Sufian Matin, and Putatan District Council Vice Chairman Ir Ummar Ariff Abu Bakar.
Shahelmey hoped the new facilities would motivate both teachers and students to excel.
“We hope that with the new multipurpose square and school field provided for SK Petagas, all members of the school — teachers and students alike — will be able to enhance their performance, education quality, and co-curricular achievements in the future,” he said.
