KUNAK: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Kunak division has claimed that it has been excluded from election machinery activities by Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) in preparation for the coming state election (PRN17) in the Kunak constituency.
Its Deputy Division Chief, Abdul Rahim Wahab said that although PBS is a component party within the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition, this issue has persisted since before the dissolution of the State Assembly (DUN).
“We have never been invited to any meetings or election machinery activities by PGRS. From what I understand, only those within PGRS are making decisions on all matters, especially concerning preparations for the election,” he told Daily Express on Thursday.
The situation, he added, could reflect a decline in support for the PGRS candidate contesting the Kunak seat in the upcoming state election on November 29.
