SANDAKAN: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) Karamunting is fully prepared for the Nov 29 state election, its Division Chief Datuk George Hiew said.
Hiew confirmed that the party’s election machinery is ready to mobilise in support of the candidate who will be fielded in the constituency.
On the matter of candidacy, he said the party’s top leadership will decide who will contest the seat.
When asked whether he would defend his seat or move to another constituency, Hiew said it is not a concern at the moment.
“Let us all wait for the announcement of who will be contesting later,” he told reporters on Sunday.
Hiew, a former Karamunting Assemblyman, added that what matters most is choosing a candidate capable of winning and serving the people effectively.
