KUNAK: The Kunak District Council (MDKNK) is now fully operating from its new premises located at KM1 Jalan Kunak-Semporna, near the prawn replica roundabout, as of last Monday.

The District Council’s Executive Officer, Mohd Nazri Pintal, said members of the public may conduct transactions or contact local authority staff here for all matters related to administration, enforcement, engineering, health/environment, finance, and licensing.

“Previously, we operated from a temporary office at Boheyan Plaza Building in Pekan Kunak. A notice regarding the council’s office relocation has been issued,” he said.

The new building, which costs RM1.8 million, was fully completed in August last year. “All our clients may conduct their affairs at this new building during official operating hours,” he said.
