KOTA KINABALU: Sabah marked the 2025 Warriors Day with a solemn tribute to the nation’s fallen heroes, including those who perished during the 2013 Tanduo incursion, at the State Police Headquarters in Kepayan on Wednesday.
The ceremony was attended by Head of State Tun Musa Aman and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, reflecting the State’s appreciation for the sacrifices of its security forces.

Musa inspected the guard-of-honour before the national and state flags were raised, followed by the sounding of the Last Post and a moment of prayer.
He and the Chief Minister, accompanied by Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun, later toured the Sabah Police Museum and the armed forces exhibition booths.
Warriors Day is held annually on 31 July to recognise the dedication of Malaysia’s armed forces in preserving national peace and sovereignty.
