SANDAKAN: Some 290 repatriated passengers comprising university students and the general public arrived at Sandakan Airport from Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. Of the total, 157 passengers on board AirAsia flight AK5197 arrived at 5.50pm while another 133 on board AK5196 at 8.10pm.Family members and friends of the passengers were not allowed to approach the arrival gate as all were taken directly to the quarantine centre located at the Batu Putih People's Housing Project (PPR).
