Man dead behind Luyang house 
Kota Kinabalu: A man was found dead behind a house in Taman Iramanis here on Saturday after being discovered unconscious by the occupant.

Acting Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief Supt Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman in a statement, here, said the Luyang Police Station received a distress call at around 5.30pm on May 9 from the house’s occupant, who had been alerted by a neighbour that an unidentified man was found lying motionless at the back of the premises.

The complainant, who was not home at the time, immediately rushed back and found the man unresponsive near the kitchen door. Emergency services and police were subsequently called to the scene.

A doctor from Hospital Queen Elizabeth II confirmed the man dead at about 6.34pm.

Syed Lot said a subsequent examination by the police found no indication of foul play or any criminal elements linked to the man’s death.

The body has since been sent for post-mortem. The case has been classified as a sudden death report.
