KENINGAU: Two houses and three vehicles were destroyed in a fire at Taman Bersatu here on Wednesday morning.

The Fire and Rescue Department said a semi-permanent house at Lot 21 was 90 per cent destroyed while a non-permanent house at Lot 22 was razed, with an Isuzu three-tonne lorry, a Proton Wira and a motorcycle also completely burnt in the incident reported at 5.29am.

A team from the Keningau Fire and Rescue Station brought the blaze under control at 6.15am and prevented it from spreading to three nearby houses, with no injuries reported and operations ending at 9.39am.
