KOTA KINABALU: Yayasan Dangsanak Sabah (YDS) distributed RM12,000 in donations to five welfare institutions and two Persatuan Masyarakat Brunei Sabah (PMBS) members during the PMBS Mahabbah Aidilfitri 2026 ceremony at Wisma Wanita Likas.
Presented by Datuk Dr. Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, the funds were allocated to three orphanages and two tahfiz centres, each receiving RM2,000, while two PMBS members facing health issues and misfortunes received RM1,000 each.
YDS Chairman Datuk Ahmad Shah Talib highlighted that the foundation will also continue its annual tradition of rewarding high-achieving SPM and STPM students from the Brunei community with cash incentives later this year.
