Kota Kinabalu: The Palliative Care Association of Kota Kinabalu (PCAKK) recently paid a courtesy KOTA visit to Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr) Musa Haji Aman, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah.
During the visit, PCAKK introduced its role in delivering compassionate palliative care services to patients and their families across Sabah.

The association also highlighted its ongoing commitment to improving access to quality palliative care and providing continuous support for individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
PCAKK further briefed on its upcoming 27th Annual Charity Dinner & Concert, scheduled to take place on 19 September 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).
The event will feature The Australian Bruno Mars Tribute Show as one of the main highlights of the evening.
The charity dinner and concert serves as a key fundraising initiative to support PCAKK’s Homecare Programme, as well as its long-term vision to establish dedicated premises for the Association.
The initiative aims to expand services and facilities, strengthen patient care programmes, and ensure the sustainability of palliative care services in Sabah.
As part of the visit, the PCAKK delegation also extended an invitation to Tun Musa to grace the event as Guest of Honour.
The delegation was led by Dr. Mathan Mohan Rao, Organising Chairman of the Fundraising Committee, accompanied by Elsie Tan, Deputy Organising Chairman; Meng Tan, PCAKK Patron; Datuk Margaret Lim, Advisor; Ivy Stanislaus, Immediate Past President; Datin Liza Lee, Committee Member; and Benzie Richard, Executive Secretary.
PCAKK expressed its appreciation to His Excellency for the warm reception and meaningful engagement, as well as his continued support for community healthcare initiatives in Sabah.
