Kota Kinabalu: The 14th KK Jazz Festival is set to return, marking its first edition since 2019. The annual event raises funds for communities in need while showcasing talented musicians from Sabah and beyond.
Jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu (RCKK) and the Society of Performing Arts, Kota Kinabalu (SPArKS), proceeds from ticket sales will support community projects such as medical outreach camps, clean water initiatives, and local performing arts development.

Organising Chairman Benjamin Lo said, “The KK Jazz Festival celebrates great music, supports local arts, encourages young talents, and raises funds for charitable projects.”
As part of pre-festival activities, the KK Jazz Talent Search was held at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu, featuring two categories – Under 18 and Open Category.
Selected acts will perform on the main stage during the festival. Co-Organising Chairman Jack Ong added, “We aim to groom local talents and give them the opportunity to perform on an international platform.”
From the Under 18 Category, Rolou Pomogunan and X.E.E Trio were selected, while Dynamics and B2P Band were chosen from the Open Category.
