Kuala Lumpur: Mettiz Capital Sdn Bhd has exited its position as a major shareholder in Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd following a series of share disposals in the open market.

Exchange Asia, recent filings showed that Mettiz Capital had been gradually reducing its stake, with disposals bringing its shareholding close to the threshold that defines a substantial shareholder.
The move marks a shift in the company’s shareholding structure, as Mettiz Capital had previously been among the key investors in the oil and gas producer.

Earlier data indicated that Mettiz Capital held slightly above five per cent equity in Hibiscus Petroleum before the disposals, highlighting its status as a significant shareholder.
