According to the Exchange Asia, recent filings showed that Mettiz Capital had been gradually reducing its stake, with disposals bringing its shareholding close to the threshold that defines a substantial shareholder.

The 2026 D-MAX also introduces an 8-speed automatic gearbox with sequential shift across the range, including the Single Cab variant, making it the first pick-up truck in Malaysia to offer an automatic transmission in that body style.
The move marks a shift in the company’s shareholding structure, as Mettiz Capital had previously been among the key investors in the oil and gas producer.

Earlier data indicated that Mettiz Capital held slightly above five per cent equity in Hibiscus Petroleum before the disposals, highlighting its status as a significant shareholder.
