SANDAKAN: Residents of Kampung Air, Batu Sapi, here have expressed disappointment after water supply in their area was disrupted since early Saturday morning.

A resident, Aisyah Idris, said the situation should not have occurred as they were making preparations to celebrate 1 Syawal.

She said preparations were affected as there had been no water since dawn, preventing them from carrying out tasks including cooking for Syawal.

They hoped the water supply would be restored as soon as possible.
