TUARAN: Fifteen Kadazan-Dusun-Murut (KDM) beauties and eight KDM men have been selected as finalists for the 2026 Tuaran Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan (UNK) and Randawi Tavantang Kaamatan (RTK) pageants.
District UNK/RTK coordinator Hannevy W Harry, who is also Tamparuli assistant district officer, said the selection was held at Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort here on Saturday (March 14).

She said the selection process, conducted by herself and two others, saw 30 title aspirants registering for the competitions.
The Tuaran UNK finalists are Joyce Juin, Ellney Evanlisca, Olivia Jane Jaideh, Olzy Prishka Bansing, Linda James @ Jaimis, Elvitha Gunong, Sazelinn Mangi, Jesslyn Veeleryana Soideh, Magdlena Dinoh, Evyanareh Larry, Delvia Rachel Damianus, Marschella Pezol, Catsween Su Sun Ping, Juje Elor @ Francis, and Deeya Sandra Charlie.
The finalists for Tuaran RTK are Adrie Hairold Damanih, Browell Ginsawat, Einer Equest Kuyun, Kristern Olwen Jafili, Hassan Der, Daniel Heiron, Ezra Mark Shynno, and Daniel Chrionie Taning.
The finalists will undergo a pageant programme that includes a bootcamp for UNK finalists from March 20-24 and a bootcamp for RTK finalists from March 24-26.
The RTK finals will be held at the resort on April 25, together with the UNK gala night.
The Tuaran UNK finals are scheduled to be held at Seri Sulaman Hall here on May 3 in conjunction with the district-level Kaamatan celebration.
The top three winners from both competitions will represent Tuaran, Tamparuli and Kiulu at the State-level competition at KDCA Hall in Penampang during the State-level Kaamatan celebration.
