KOTA KINABALU: OGSE Sabah 2026 preparations are progressing steadily in Sabah, following a coordination meeting of its main committee chaired by Datuk Thomas Logijin.

The committee said the inaugural Oil & Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) Sabah 2026 event is moving towards full readiness, with close coordination among multiple government agencies including security, health, education and protocol departments.

The collaborative approach aims to ensure smooth logistics and a well-managed experience for both local and international delegates, positioning the event as a major industrial showcase for the state.

Organisers also clarified that OGSE Sabah 2026 is a separate event from the Sabah Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE), and will focus specifically on services and equipment within the oil and gas ecosystem.

The event is jointly organised by MIDET Sabah, the Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council and the Persatuan Kontraktor Petroleum Bumiputera Sabah, with support from SMJ Energy Sdn. Bhd.
