Kota Kinabalu: A total of 2,500 bubur lambuk servings were cooked and distributed during the Kongsi Rezeki Bubur Lambuk programme, organised by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Sabah and Federal Territory of Labuan in collaboration with the National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) Sabah Campus on Monday.

State Maritime Director First Admiral (Maritime) Khairulanuar Abd Majid @ Razali said the programme was not merely an activity of cooking bubur lambuk, but also served as a platform to strengthen relationships among government agencies in the state.

“A total of 2,500 bubur lambuk portions were successfully prepared before being distributed to staff members from various agencies and departments present. This programme provides an opportunity for us to share sustenance and further strengthen cooperation among agencies throughout the month of Ramadan,” he said.

The Kongsi Bubur Lambuk programme was coordinated by the Malaysian Maritime Welfare and Sports Club (Kesmar) on behalf of the Sabah State and Federal Territory of Labuan Maritime Headquarters, chaired by Commander Effendy Mohamed Fadil.
