Woman held in Labuan raid
LABUAN: The Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) detained a woman in an operation at a settlement on Wednesday.

The operation, which began at 1.15am, was conducted by the Complaints, Intelligence and Operations Unit of the Enforcement Division following information from the public as well as prior intelligence gathering.

During the raid, 32 individuals were thoroughly inspected by the operation team.

A 23-year-old Filipino woman was detained under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for not possessing valid travel documents or permits.
