KENINGAU: Some 427 students, educators, parents and others took part in the Sunsuron Fun Run in conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee Celebration (60 Years) of the school, recently.
Three categories of U12 years with 183 participants, U18 years (104) and an open category with a total of 140 participants took part.

It started at SK Sunsuron via a route around Kampung Sunsuron for three kilometres and five kilometres by the school management in collaboration with the Parent and Teacher Association (PTA).
The event received strong cooperation from various parties including members of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), officers of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM), educators and Implementation Group Members (AKP), parents and the local community.
Principal Maturin Ajun said participation was very encouraging due to the commitment and strong support by the community, PTA, police, KKM, teachers and staff.
Those who made it to the top 10 in three categories received medals and certificates.
The Fun Run not only added excitement to the SK Sunsuron Diamond Jubilee celebration to be held in May, but also served as a platform to strengthen relationships between the school and the local community, while promoting awareness of the importance of physical health and community well-being.
