Kuala Lumpur: The Embassy of Malaysia in Jordan and the Embassy of Malaysia in Bahrain have urged Malaysians in both countries to remain calm and stay in safe locations following Israel’s airstrikes on Iran on Saturday.

In a consular notice posted on Facebook, the Embassy of Malaysia in Amman advised Malaysians to rely only on verified information and comply with instructions issued by local authorities.

“Malaysians are also advised to remain in safe places and avoid areas near military facilities, as well as keep away from any falling debris,” the statement said.

The embassy also urged Malaysians to remain vigilant amid the evolving security situation in the region.
