LABUAN: Any changes to financial-related services, including laws, services and fees should be minimal to prevent exodus of companies to other tax havens, said a pioneer.
Executive Chairman of Noblehouse International Trust Ltd Datuk Chin Chee Kee said every year there will be two or three new requirements with every budget year which is difficult even for professionals to keep up with.
“A centre that is steady and offers predictability helps in planning and to prosper,” he said.
Chin said this on the 35th anniversary celebration of Noblehouse, a joint venture with prominent Sabah businessman lawyer Datuk Joseph Ambrose Lee.
