KUDAT: Repair works on the damaged road in Kampung Bingolon, Matunggong will be carried out once weather conditions improve, said State Women, Health and People’s Wellbeing Minister Political Secretary, Marius Masain

He said the road falls under the jurisdiction and maintenance responsibility of the district Public Works Department (JKR) office and is currently under monitoring.

Marius explained that the ongoing rainy season has affected several public facilities, including rural roads in the area, and that repair works require suitable weather conditions to ensure proper execution and lasting results.
He said the necessary action will be taken once weather conditions allow safe mobilisation, as proper timing is important to ensure the repairs are carried out effectively.
While acknowledging villagers’ efforts to carry out temporary patching works using their own resources, he stressed that infrastructure repairs must follow proper technical procedures and that the matter is being addressed through the relevant agencies.
