Kota Kinabalu: A 56-year-old headmaster was fined a total of RM32,000 by the Sessions Court here for using false documents to apply for a special allocation from the Chief Minister’s Department and for abetting a contractor to obtain payments for school supplies.
Sessions Court Judge Elsie Primus imposed the sentence on Abd Rasad Sadikir @ Sadikil after the case was brought up for facts and sentencing following his earlier guilty plea to 10 charges on Friday.

For two counts of using forged documents to apply for RM85,000 from the Chief Minister’s Special Allocation for the construction of the Anak Banggi Community Association administrative office in Kg Karakit Banggi, Kudat, he was fined RM8,000 per count in default six months’ jail.
For four counts of using false “Nota Minta” documents dated Oct 5, 6, 8 and 9, 2018 to obtain payments for counselling guidance tools, examination paper supplies, library items and office equipment for SK Manggis Mangkubou, Pitas, he was fined RM2,000 per count in default three months’ jail.
He was also fined RM2,000 or three months’ jail for each of four counts of abetting Rasnah Majuan, 49, to use the same documents to obtain payments from the school, with the offences prosecuted under Section 471/468 of the Penal Code.
