Chairman of Koperasi Pelancongan North Borneo Semporna Berhad, Kerino Jalani, said this in response to public attention over accommodation premises in Semporna, stressing the need to clarify the situation at operator level
He said claims that accommodation premises in Semporna are fully operated by foreign companies are not accurate.
“While it is true that several premises were established through joint ventures with foreign investors or agents, the daily management and operations are still carried out by local companies and workers.
