SABAH FC suffered yet another humiliating defeat at the hands of the formidable Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) FC at Likas Stadium on Sunday.
The final score of 6-1 not only highlights the gap in class between the two teams but also raises questions about Sabah FC’s strategy to spring a surprise as promised by acting head coach Alto Linus before the tie.
To add salt to the wound, the defeat was compounded by the fact that our former top scorer Ajdin Mujagic, who now plays for JDT, netted two of the goals.
Despite the excitement surrounding our recent new signings, we were unable to match the class and finesse demonstrated by JDT as their experience shone through.
