Motorcyclist killed in Papar crash

PAPAR: A 54-year-old’s hopes to see his wife turned tragic after he succumbed to serious injuries following an accident along Jalan Limbahau, here, Saturday.

District Police Chief Supt Heryan Mohd Tahir said the motorcyclist was believed to be travelling from Beluran to Labuan to meet his wife when the incident occurred at 7am.

He said the victim suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical officer at the scene.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
