Two vehicles skid off roads in Beaufort
BEAUFORT: A Proton Saga skidded off the road and plunged onto the shoulder at Km 17 of the Beaufort road opposite SMK Patrick Membakut, leaving its driver with minor injuries.

District Police Chief Supt Wong Leong Meng said the vehicle lost control on its own and the injured driver was taken to hospital by a Health Ministry ambulance for treatment.

“Earlier the same day, a four-wheel-drive vehicle also skidded on its own at Kampung Jempagah along Jalan Lintas on Sunday at about 8.20am,” he said.

The male driver was fortunate after the vehicle left the road and entered an oil palm plantation.
