KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Jamawi Jaafar, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry, officiated the opening of the daily market and Sunset Deck at KPD Avenue here on Tuesday.

He visited local vegetable vendors and received a briefing on KPD’s operations and achievements for 2025 from KPD General Manager Jamilah Lee.

Jamawi expressed satisfaction with KPD’s sales performance this year, saying, “This achievement sends a clear message that agriculture can generate profitable business if managed systematically and effectively.”
