PUTATAN: Unity across racial and religious lines must be preserved to sustain socioeconomic development in Sabah, particularly in Tanjung Keramat, said its assemblyman Shah Alfie Yahya.
He said the state administration under Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has prioritised harmony among Sabah’s multi-ethnic communities, enabling inclusive development through initiatives that benefit all groups.

Shah Alfie stressed the need for strong coordination to ensure policies reach the grassroots and urged residents to act as partners to authorities in improving local development.
He was speaking after a Christmas 2025 food basket distribution programme in Tanjung Keramat, which he said aimed to strengthen community ties. He also extended Christmas greetings and reminded the public to celebrate responsibly and prioritise safety.
