LAHAD DATU: Police arrested three individuals, including a woman, and seized Syabu in two separate operations at the Reno Fajar area on Friday.
District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said a 25-year-old man was detained during the first operation, where police recovered 6.15 grams of Syabu worth RM676.50.
The suspect, who tested positive for drugs, is being investigated under Section 39A(1) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
In a second operation, a man and a woman were detained after police inspected a vehicle in the area, seizing 0.15 gramme of Syabu.
Both suspects tested positive for Amphetamine and Methamphetamine and are under investigation under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
ACP Dzulbaharin said the operations reflect Lahad Datu Police Headquarters’ commitment to combating drug-related crimes in the district.
