Kota Kinabalu: Luyang Assemblyman Samuel Wong called on the Sabah Water Department here to take immediate action to resolve the ongoing water supply disruption affecting residents in the Foh Sang area.
He said he has received numerous complaints from residents who have been facing water shortages since last Friday, with some households experiencing completely dry taps while others receiving only minimal water supply.

“The affected areas include Lorong Angsa, Lorong Mawas, Taman Siamang and Taman Sri Gaya.
“The prolonged disruption is causing serious inconvenience to residents in carrying out their daily activities.
“The Water Department must urgently investigate the matter and restore a stable water supply as soon as possible,” he said in a statement, here, Sunday.
Wong also demanded a clear explanation from the authorities on the root cause of the disruption and the measures being taken to prevent a recurrence.
