Kota Kinabalu: PKR Penampang has responded to DAP National Adviser Lim Guan Eng’s recent remarks suggesting that the Madani Government is neglecting Sabah.
Its Youth Chief Eldridge Laurence Timis, who is also PKR Sabah Deputy Youth Chief, said Sabah’s youths are not easily fooled.

“We remember the past who made decisions that delayed Sabah’s development.
“The Madani Government is taking steps to ensure targeted subsidies, cash aid, food assistance and infrastructure funds reach the people directly. This is policy, not mere slogan,” he said.
Eldridge also highlighted that under Lim’s tenure as Finance Minister in 2018, key projects like the Pan Borneo Sabah were delayed or restructured, affecting the State’s development.
He said Sabah youths value honest governance over outdated political rhetoric.
Lim, in a Facebook post, said the recent Sabah election results reflected voter dissatisfaction over extra taxes.
He also denied that he raised the concerns only after DAP was wiped out from Sabah.
