KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor paid his last respects to the late Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin at the latter's residence here on Friday.
He said Bung was a leader who had contributed significantly to the State, particularly in his own constituency.
Hajiji added that he felt a deep personal loss, recalling his long friendship with Bung and the difficult period during the latter’s recent illness.
He extended condolences on behalf of his family and the state government, praying for Bung’s soul to be granted mercy and placed among the righteous.
Bung, 66, who was also Lamag assemblyman, passed away at 1.46am on Friday while receiving treatment at the hospital.
