Kota Kinabalu: Pergerakan Pemuda Gagasan Rakyat declared its unanimous and unwavering support for Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, saying the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) election victory reflects strong public confidence in his mature and forward-thinking leadership.
The youth wing said Hajiji’s leadership has ensured political stability, economic progress and continued development throughout the state.
They urged youth leaders at all levels to strengthen unity and give solid backing to the Chief Minister’s administration over the next five years, noting that this support is vital for the consistent implementation of development plans, social welfare programmes and advancement initiatives for Sabah.
Pergerakan Pemuda Gagasan Rakyat reaffirmed its role as the main platform for channelling the aspirations of young Sabahans, while maintaining loyalty to leadership decisions to safeguard organisational stability and continue the struggle for state development and people’s welfare.
The movement also congratulated the newly sworn-in State Cabinet members, expressing confidence in their ability to address long-standing issues, expand welfare initiatives, strengthen women’s empowerment and youth development, improve governance efficiency and uphold Sabah’s rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963.
They believe the next five-year term will showcase the GRS Plus Government’s capability to transform Sabah into a more progressive, stable, prosperous and competitive state for current and future generations.
