KOTA KINABALU: Industry players were given an early look at the 3rd International Business Events Forum, BE in Sabah 2026, during an Industry Connect and Media Preview at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Wednesday.
The forum, set for Feb 4–5, 2026, aims to strengthen Sabah’s position as a competitive Asia Pacific hub for Business Events and cross-border collaboration.
Co-organised by SICC and the Maceos Sabah Chapter, the event adopts the theme “Global Collaboration Through Business Events” and will explore trade facilitation, investment flows and market resilience.
Organising chairperson Datuk Rosmawati Lasuki said Business Events have become an important driver of economic growth by enabling knowledge-sharing and high-value professional networks.
The forum is expected to draw about 800 delegates, with international speakers headlining discussions on competitiveness, leadership, sustainability and data-led decision-making, and early bird registration running until Dec 31.
